Pink - Raise Your Glass | Duncan's REMIX Drum Cover [HD] Hey YouTubers! Great song by Pink - very lively! Still am yet to learn some rudiments and practise on my sticking but hopefully there's enough variation in this cover. I have also just bought Mike Johnston's Linear Drumming book so hopefully I can incorporate some 'actual' drum beats in my next cover. For audio nerds, I cranked up volume of the 2 SM57s for the toms - always thought they didn't come out enough. Snare has also had a boost in the high frequencies to give it a bit more *crack* although it's still got a high ring to it (probably because it's a steel shell). And I have also retuned all my 2 rack toms and my snare a bit higher to make it attack a bit more. Cheers, Duncan. ------------------------- Drum Kit: ------------------------- - Pearl Session Studio (Birch) - 10"/12"/14" Rack Toms (EC2 clears on batter) - 22" Kick (EMAD on batter, stock on reso) - Pearl Sensitone Elite Snare (Remo PS3) - Ufip Tiger 14" Hats - Ufip Tiger 20" Ride - Zildjian A 14" Fast Crash - Sabian HHX X-Plosion 14" Crash - Meinl Byzance 10" Splash - Meinl Amun 12" Crash - Gibraltar Double Kicks - Gibraltar Rack - Hairdressers stool ------------------------- Recording Gear ------------------------- - Audix D6 (kick drum) - 3 x Shure SM57 (snare/rack toms/low tom) - Behringer XM8500 (hi-hat) - Presonus FirePod FP10 (recording interface) - Cubase 5 (audio recording) - Adobe Audition 3 (audio mixing) - Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 (video ...

This is a review of the Shure SRH440 headphones that I received from Shure. These headphones sounds suberb for the price which is $99. I tried the Sennheiser HD 280 and they had absolutely no BASS, the AKG 240 MKII where good but at about $150. SO my conclusion is these are a Thumbs Up and a recommended buy here is the link to purchase them tiny.cc

I love this song! It's the first song I heard from Fall Out Boy and I'd have to say they are my #1 band! It's another wake-up-and-drum-cover, so I'm a bit sleepy but hope you guys still enjoy it! Had a bit of problems with the syncing of the sound, it seems to go off every now and then but I can't be bothered fixing it! ------------------------- Drum Kit: ------------------------- - Pearl Session Studio (Birch) - 10"/12"/14" Rack Toms (EC2 clears on batter) - 22" Kick (EMAD on batter, stock on reso) - Pearl Sensitone Elite Snare (Remo PS3) - Ufip Tiger 14" Hats - Ufip Tiger 20" Ride - Zildjian A 14" Fast Crash - Sabian HHX X-Plosion 14" Crash - Meinl Byzance 10" Splash - Meinl Amun 12" Crash - LP Black Beauty Cowbell - LP Medium Jam Block - Gibraltar Double Kicks - Gibraltar Rack - Hairdressers stool (haha) ------------------------- Recording Gear ------------------------- - Audix D6 (kick drum) - Shure SM57 (snare) - Shure SM57 (high/mid toms) - Shure SM57 (low tom) - Presonus FirePod FP10 (recording interface) - Cubase 5 (audio recording) - Adobe Audition 3 (audio mixing) - Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 (video editing) - Canon 500D (17-55mm f/2.8 - 720p @ 30fps) - Shure SRH-440 monitors -------------------------

This is an awesome song sung by AHMIR! I'd like to say a big thanks to them for giving me permission to use their music video in this production! If you haven't heard them already, please check their channel out - they're the #1 R&B group on YouTube. AHMIR YouTube channel: www.youtube.com For all my subscribers, you may have been aware that I was trying to upload this remix cover for the original song sung by Taylor Swift. Unfortunately, it kept getting flagged for copyright issues so it's currently on my Vimeo: www.vimeo.com Anyway about the song...it's really catchy! AHMIR have done an amazing job making it sound even better! The cover is not perfect but I'm happy enough with it! Hope you all like it! ------------------------- Drum Kit: ------------------------- - Pearl Session Studio (Birch) - 10"/12"/14" Rack Toms (EC2 clears on batter) - 22" Kick (EMAD on batter, stock on reso) - Pearl Sensitone Elite Snare (Remo PS3) - Ufip Tiger 14" Hats - Ufip Tiger 20" Ride - Zildjian A 14" Fast Crash - Sabian HHX X-Plosion 14" Crash - Meinl Byzance 10" Splash - Meinl Amun 12" Crash - Gibraltar Double Kicks - Gibraltar Rack - Hairdressers stool ------------------------- Recording Gear ------------------------- - Audix D6 (kick drum) - 3 x Shure SM57 (snare/rack toms/low tom) - Presonus FirePod FP10 (recording interface) - Cubase 5 (audio recording) - Adobe Audition 3 (audio mixing) - Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 (video editing) - Canon 500D (17-55mm f/2.8 - 720p @ 30fps) - Shure SRH ...

My first cover in a while. Got some new mics and recording setup :D Got my new drum setup: Travis Orbin "Orbinated" drumset. He's been my biggest inspiration for a while and I've been practicing it for the past few months and I love it. Of course, it's not really an "Orbinated" kit. I do not have two hi hats, and I still have a rack tom. But I feel my custom way of approaching it works for me and I love it. As for the big fail... I messed up. So what? I still think I did a good job on this. Hope you guys like this cover to this very catchy song! It's semester break for me and I found an afternoon to do this cover! Never really heard this song much, so it took about 3 attempts and finally got something I liked. You can see me finish prematurely near the end because I thought it was the end of the song haha! And I actually wasn't going to put this up because I wasn't really happy with it and I thought I'd try again tomorrow but I'm a bit lazy so just decided to put this up... I also procrastinated enough to make some cool graphics for my cover and will probably use them from now on! Also, back from popular demand, Fluffy revisits the drumming arena! Although since I focused the camera on the drums, and since she faces the hallway - it's actually quite boring haha! Anyways hope you like it! Thing song has such a good beat to it that I just had to cover it. Hope you guys like it! And yes I'm fully wearing my PJs haha but it's comfortable to play in! Some people commented that you couldn't hear my hi-hat so I've now placed one of my Behringer mics on it so hopefully you can hear it better! Let me know what you think! Love this song, it's so catchy. the video is a bit 'out there' but I've included it for you guys anyway! Not perfect but good enough for me ha! I've mixed the audio a bit differently this time and I think some of you may get some low frequency issues with the kick drum and low tom. Let me know please! Also the left splash and left crash seems to be softer than the others so I'll have to look into this next time! Hope you all enjoy! I just realised I must have accidentally chopped the end off - so for all those who want to know, i just end the the song with a crash on my Zildjian Fast Crash ;) ------------------------- Drum Kit: ------------------------- - Pearl Session Studio (Birch) - 10"/12"/14" Rack Toms (EC2 clears on batter) - 22" Kick (EMAD on batter, stock on reso) - Pearl Sensitone Elite Snare (Remo PS3) - Ufip Tiger 14" Hats - Ufip Tiger 20" Ride - Zildjian A 14" Fast Crash - Sabian HHX X-Plosion 14" Crash - Meinl Byzance 10" Splash - Meinl Amun 12" Crash - LP Black Beauty Cowbell - LP Medium Jam Block - Gibraltar Double Kicks - Gibraltar Rack - Hairdressers stool ------------------------- Recording Gear ------------------------- - Audix D6 (kick drum) - Shure SM57 (snare) - Shure SM57 (high/mid toms) - Shure SM57 (low tom) - Presonus FirePod FP10 (recording interface) - Cubase 5 (audio recording) - Adobe Audition 3 (audio mixing) - Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 (video editing) - Canon 500D (17-55mm f/2.8 - 720p @ 30fps) - Shure SRH-440 monitors -------------------------
