The Logitech QuickCam E3500 is an entry-level webcam, and at this price, you can't really expect too many features. The focus is manual and the resolution is VGA, just 640 x 480 pixels. Nevertheless, Logitech has included its latest technological developments, including RightLight and RightSound. On paper at least, there are promised improvements in both audio and video quality, even in a dark room. Another bonus is the stand, which allows to be attached either to the top of a computer monitor or sit on a desk. Although this webcam is considered an entry-level option, that doesn't stop it capturing excellent quality video. In bright daylight, movements are fluid. As you can see in the video below, there's no jerkiness and the picture doesn't break up. Like all webcams, the QuickCam E3500 tends to become over-exposed in a dark room.
