As with all hybrid monitor-TVs, this score is heavily weighted in favour of the inputs and outputs on offer. At the moment, none of the models we've seen in this rather unique category has a stand that allows anything more advanced than tilting the screen back by a few degrees. The M2762D-PC is no exception to this rule. LG has, however, really gone to town with the inputs and outputs. Alongside the usual pairing of VGA and DVI ports, there are also two HDMI ports and two SCART inputs, as well as both composite and component video. That means you'll have no problem hooking up a Blu-ray player, a games console, two computers, a VCR and an older DVD player—all at the same time! Your ears will have to make do with the pair of 2 x 5 W speakers, or you can use the optical audio out to redirect sound to another device. From reading the documentation, we were hoping to find a more responsive hybrid than some of those currently available. Unfortunately, though , the M2762D-PC didn't deliver its quoted response time of 3 ms and isn't actually any faster than the others. According to our test results, there's nothing between it and a 'traditional' 5 ms TN panel.
