The Photosmart 5515 e-All-in-one is identical to the Photosmart 6510 apart from a few small differences in hardware. Hardware: Let’s start with the differences. The screen is smaller: 6 cm against 8.9 cm on the Photosmart 605. Here there’s no double paper loader to facilitate switching from photo prints (10x15 cm) to office documents. The rest is identical to the Photosmart 6510, print, scan and copy. This 3-in-1 is connected to the Internet and offers a selection of on-board applications thanks to the wi-fi link-up. Speed: fast. We measured it at 19 pages per minute (ppm) for black & white office documents and 13 ppm for colour. A4 photo prints take 1 mn 24 seconds and 10 x 15 cm prints take 42 seconds. Quality: The main problem that undermines legibility is still the same: the size of droplets visible on photo and office document (especially on graphs with single coloured areas) prints. Cost per page: There are two sets of cartridges: standard and XL. The XLs naturally represent more of an outlay but give better value. At 7.5 pence, cost per page is as low as anything else on the market.
