Gigabyte M8000Xtreme Mouse

The Gigabyte M8000Xtreme ($59.99 list at NewEgg) has it all: A sweet design, customizable features and macros, and it can go from 90 to 6030 - dpi that is - in just one click if you choose. This gaming mouse is an absolute delight on and off the gaming grid, which is why it receives our Editors' Choice for gaming mice. You won't find any smudge marks on this wired mouse, as the M8000Xtreme has a soft rubber exterior on the top and curved sides of the device. This choice material will leave you with a cleaner mouse at the end of your gaming session and will be a comfortable experience during your gameplay. Highlighting these attributes is the slim glossy frame and glowing Ghost logo that changes color when switching between programmable profiles (more on this later). There are two default browsers buttons above the thumb rest and a button that changes profiles that sits on the left side where the pinky or ring finger can tap. In between the designated mouse buttons is a plastic scroll wheel, which, in my opinion, felt a little cheap compared with others like the metal one found on the Logitech M705 ($49.99 direct, 4.5 stars).
