It has a 16:10 panel, whose resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels might be easier on your eyes than the 1920 x 1080 found elsewhere. On a display of the same surface area, you can display around 10% less information using the former--but what's left is larger and easier to see. Digimate hasn't exactly produced a 22'' monitor that's bursting at the seams with extras. Video inputs are limited to VGA and DVI, and there's an audio input for the speakers. That leaves it with our lowest possible score in this section, one star. We weren't at all surprised by the responsiveness of this monitor. Its specs say that it uses a 5 ms panel, and they're right. In practice, that makes it perfectly useable for office work, but it struggles somewhat with games. The rapid movements found in many games, including popular FPS titles, are very likely to appear blurry. That leaves colour handling as one of the few areas where the L-2262Wd could make up the lost ground. Unfortunately, the colours it displays by default are far from perfect. There is a very strong blue tinge, as well as an incorrect distribution of luminance across different shades of grey. As a result, the average discrepancy between the colours requested by the graphics card, and those displayed on screen, or deltaE, is 7.5.
