Samsung HM3600

The dual-mic Samsung HM3600 Bluetooth headset offers a good mixture of style, comfort, and sound quality at a reasonable price point. It's comfortable enough, and has good enough battery life, to wear all day. At a list price of just $59.99, the HM3600 is a tempting buy, and one of the best midrange headsets I've tested. The Samsung HM3600's main body (not counting the ear hook) measures 1.9 by 0.7 by 0.4 inches (HWD) and weighs just under half an ounce. The HM3600 is made entirely of plastic, but it's a tasteful mixture of matte and glossy surfaces in slate blue, gray, and black. The top edge contains a hardware power switch and a tiny LED. The back edge holds a covered microUSB charger port, while the bottom edge features a generously sized pair of volume buttons. The front panel holds the multi-function Talk button. The HM3600 is an on-ear design, which means the rubber ear tip doesn't insert into your ear canal the way the ones on some other headsets do. There are no alternative ear tips or hooks in different sizes in the package. The plastic ear hook isn't detachable, but its rounded, flexible design makes the HM3600 comfortable to wear. You can also adjust the ear hook to wear the HM3600 on your left or right ear.

Samsung HM3600 Review

Road warriors beware, the just might be the perfect solution for those who yearn for a long lasting device that is ideal for those extra-long conversations. Likewise, it seems to pack a decent mix of customary features with its $59.99 price point – such as built-in voice prompts, dual-microphones for noise & echo cancellation, multipoint technology, and an “ultra-comfortable on-ear design” that minimizes ear fatigue during prolonged usage. With its touted easy on the ear design, it just might be suitable for almost all occasions, but we’re intrigued to see how it stands. Packaged along with the headset are the wall charger, removable earhook, and user manual.Taking the conventional design approach, the HM3600 doesn’t particularly come off as one fashionably chic looking headset – especially with its rectangular shape and rounded corners. Comprised out of a blue and silver patterned plastic body, which again contributes to its ordinary looks, it naturally makes for one light weight headset. Interestingly enough, it relies on a rotating pivot joint, which is rarely in use with most headsets, and holds the earhook in its place.Painfully, the adjustable pivot joint doesn’t particularly allow the earhook to sufficiently latch onto our ear.
