I have many MANY camcorders, but i don't want to bring my pro or expensive camcorders to school or to places where my camcorders (like the one I filmed this video with: Sony HDR-HC9 HDV cam) and i don't want to carry around a clunky waterproof case....at least not for now. So i wanted something small, not too expensive, good features, HD quality and waterproof. Not until recently, all we had available were Standard Defintion Panasonic waterproof models like the SDR-SW20, and Sanyo's E1 waterproof camcorders. But now this year, Sanyo introduced many camcorders, and the one that caught my eye that matched my 'want' list was the VPC-WH1. It's extremely compact, comfortable, has good 720p HD video (that's better than the Kodak Zi6 and even the Webbie PM1) has good control, and of course: is waterproof. I got it in the yellow version, which looks cooler. The WH1 is waterproof down to 10 feet/3meters! And it's 720p video is very good in bright light! And it has a crazy 30x optical zoom (although I'll probably only ever use it up to 10x). And it has a removable CRAZY STRONG but TINY 3 hour battery pack! I got two! It's SDHC card compatible up to 32GB! It has a flash ...

My new camcorder, the Sanyo VPC-WH1 is waterproof down to 10 feet! It's now my adventure cam and i take it to places where i wouldn't dare take my HDR-HC9. Anyway, since this is my test acount, this is a test video for youtube of me recording Jurassic Park the Ride at Universal Stuidos Hollywood. My future accounts which will open soon will have videos from 1996-2009, and forward all in HD, all being my theme park adventures (Disney, Universal, etc) with rides, shows, and a lot more. They'll be awesome. Anyway enjoy! This was filmed on 5/25/09, whith the new Hadrosaur animatronic, which has a problem with the syncing with the boats. It came out to early, before you feel the "bump" under the boat. I liked the old one more.
