Die neuen Samsung BD-Player haben zwar keinen Lüfter, dafür ein für meinen Geschmack zu lautes Laufwerk. Sobald eine Disc eingelegt ist, läuft permanent der Laufwerksmotor (auch wenn Disc komplett gestoppt ist). Dieser erzeugt ein hochfrequentes Grundgeräusch wie auch bei jedem anderen Player. Es ist aber subjektiv etwa doppelt so laut wie mein 8 Jahre alter Sony-DVD-Player. Viele wird das nicht stören. Es kommt aber noch etwas hinzu: Während des normalen Spielbetriebs kommen in unregelmäßigen Abständen Surr- und Klackgeräusche hinzu, die ich nicht akzeptabel finde. Leider hört man nur diese im Video. Das Grundfiepen ist für meine Kamera zu hochfrequent.

For some reason two Samsung products do not work well together. A 55 inch LED internet ready will not turn on together with the Samsung Home Theatre system after syncing remote. Not sure if they would work nicely even if the remote wasn't sync'ed. At one point a Samsung tech told me I need a different remote!

Actually just in my little bedroom! Modest, but proud: 46" Samsung led tv 7100, samasung BD player c6500, xbox 360 elite LE 250gb, denon 590 HD, OLD! but powerful Sony towers, klipsch small center & small surrounds behind me, HD cable box, A/V cable for ipod/iPhone. If you must know: monster hdmi(bd), rocketfish hdmi(xbox), audioquest chocolate hdmi(to tv), and a cheap-o for the cable box.
