The $179.99 (direct) Pandigital 8-Inch Photo Mail Digital Photo Frame offers a big 8-inch display, good image quality and the ability to receive images wirelessly by email. Unlike most frames that can receive pictures wirelessly, this digital photo frame doesn't use Wi-Fi—instead, it connects to AT&T's cellular network without costing you a penny. There's no setup, and right out of the box it's connected and ready to receive photos. This frame wins big points for that simplicity, but if setting up a network isn't impossible or intimidating, you can save a lot by going with a Wi-Fi-only frame like the less expensive, Editors' Choice Kodak Pulse ($129.95, 4 stars), or you can forgo wireless altogether and get more features for your money with the other Editors' Choice, the Insignia NS-DPF8IP ($99.99, 4 stars). Like all photo frames, the Pandigital's style is a matter of personal taste. The 8-inch, 800 by 600 LCD is surrounded by a 1-inch white border, all wrapped in a 1.5-inch wood grain frame. Above and below the middle of the LCD are two small dark spots—they're the IR receivers for the included remote. Other frames are able to conceal these receivers, like the slick Sony DPF-D70 7" Digital Photo Frame ($119.99, 3.5 stars), but they're not terribly noticeable here.
