Given the limits of recording apples to apples differences, please be aware that brightness, contrast, and other differences may be more or less dramatic in person than in the video. We have chosen to compare the new Optoma HD20 $999 1080 p projector and the Epson Home Cinema 6500 UB $2k+ projector to illustrate the differences between the two categories - entry level versus high end home theater. Optoma announced their attempt at making 1080p projection more accessible with their H20 1080p Projector. It's only $1000, and has two HDMI ports. The Vivitek H1080FD is another good option if you're in the market. Julie & Julia is, I believe, the first movie about blogging. I loved it, and hope you guys go see it too! Connected my Optoma HD20 to a PS3 and a XBox 360. The throw distance from wall to wall is about 12 feet. After much calculations my screen fit perfect at 85 inches. The HD20 has a 1x zoom, so that helped alittle. Over all I think this is a great 1080p projector with 2 HDMI ports on the back.
