Product Survey: Bluetooth Headsets

This is quite an unusual product, sold under the Opera brand and distributed by DIP International. This name may be familiar to you; it's the main distribution arm for products using Kleer technology, the Canadian wireless audio technology that's one of the most effective around at the moment. But what is the S5T in fact? An iPod transmitter. This little box has the same female connector as the one you find on iPod docks. And what's this for? It has many uses. You may for example want to listen to music on your iPod without taking it out of your pocket. Especially if it's an iPhone and you want to take calls at the same time. For this, there's a dedicated dock receiver, the RX1. The same goes for the Digifi ear buds, the Sleek-Audio wireless kit, or the new Sennheiser RS range wireless headphones. All these products use Kleer technology and are compatible with each other. And it works! All you need to do is push a button on the transmitter and receiver to instantaneously synch them up. In terms of audio quality, no complaints. There's no degradation in sound and it has a decent range. For battery life, as power is drawn from the iPod/iPhone itself, you're only limited by that.
