This morning we had an impromptu shootout of our top offerings in each display category. We compared the Panasonic PT-AE4000U (LCD, 1600 lumens, 100000:1 contrast ratio), LG CF181D (LCoS, 1800 lumens 35000:1 contrast ratio) and Infocus SP8602 (DLP, 1300 lumens 30000:1 contrast ratio). In the video, the Panasonic is on top, the Infocus on the bottom left and the LG on the bottom right. Please note that the Panasonic is at a disadvantage in this shot. The screen was tilted at the top, forcing the Panasonic's image to blur. What do you think of the three projectors?

What we saw in person was a slight 'blue' tint to the LCoS image in some scenes, and a very smooth image in fast motion scenes. LG's versatile CF3D is the world's first Full HD Dual Engine Single Lens 3D Projector featuring an outstanding brightness rating of 2500 ANSI-lumens for 2D viewing and 1250 ANSI-lumens for 3D content and a high contrast ratio of 7000:1.
