PCMag Editors did not test the LG Infinia 65LW6500. We did, however, test and review the LG Infinia 47LW5600 from the same series, our Editor's Choice. A 3D HDTV measuring 65 inches, the LG Infinia 65LW6500 ($4,499 list) offers a 1,920 by 1,080 resolution, a contrast ratio in the millions and LG's SmartTV suite of web apps. Other features include LG's motion-controlled Magic Remote, wireless connectivity, 2D to 3D conversion and more. The Infinia 65LW6500 is encased in a sleek, all-black glossy bezel that's lined with clear plastic. It rests on a stand that can swivel 20 degrees, also lined in clear and black plastic. This model sports four HDMI inputs, two USB ports, an RF input, two AV inputs, a LAN network port and more. This 3D TV boasts a 9 million to 1 contrast ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate to boost color performance and reduce motion blur, respectively. In addition to these performance features, users can enjoy 3D content with four free 3D glasses. And 2D to 3D conversion allows for more 3D content to watch than network providers or Blu-ray can offer. Through LG's SmartTV, users can access content like Netflix and Hulu Plus, or navigate web apps like Facebook and YouTube as well as games through either WiFi or wired connectivity. And thanks to that wireless connection, users can build a network with other DLNA-certified devices.
