Ravensword: The Fallen King Review Iphone/Ipod Touch RPG Action Adventure Game

My Review of Ravensword: The Fallen King for iphone/ipod touch. 9/10 $6.99 itunes.apple.com Ravensword, is a hybrid between action/adventure and RPG. BEAUTIFUL smooth 3D graphics, immersive game play, solid controls that are somewhat awkward in combat and sandbox play. You can talk to anyone and go anywhere. The fact that it is non linear is a major plus for me. You cannot customize your character, you can't choose classes like Mage or healer like you can in other RPG's but this didn't adversely affect my enjoyment of the game. It's heavier on Adventure than RPG and I don't think this takes much away from Ravensword. I have not reached the middle of the game yet but from what I HAVE played, this is a solid, beautifully made game with coming updates that I look forward to. This might take you several hrs in total to complete or more depending on how much time you spend on it. I wish it had character voices. Highly recommended for RPG fans! Even if you have Dungeon Hunter and Crusade of Destiny. you should buy Ravensword because there is an expansion coming out in the future! Video was shot on my Kodak Zi8 HD pocket camcorder

Kodak Zi8 Test 1080p 30fps vs 720p 60fps

I did a quick outdoor test video of the Kodak Zi8 in all its 1080p, 30fps glory followed up by the same shot at 720p 60fps. A surprisingly noticeable crop factor comes into play at 1080p, the image is zoomed in by about 50%. I wasn't expecting that. The clarity of the image is far greater in the 1080p but the 720p gives the expected increase in quality for moving vehicles. Compare the people walking to the cyclists and cars, for instance. NOTE: YouTube limits video uploads to ~720p 30fps, but you can still get an idea of the difference.
