In-Ear Headphone Reviews

We've been waiting to see a new product from Jays for a while now. Following its well-known D- and Q-series headphones, the brand has now released the a-Jays earphones range. We'll be taking a closer look at the 'Three' model. The Swedish manufacturer has a reputation for style and quality, and the a-Jays Three packaging certainly conveys this, with a sleek, suede-finish plastic box. Environmentally minded consumers won't be impressed, but it certainly makes the a-Jays look like an appealing product. Once unwrapped, you'll find a decent bundle of accessories, with five sets of different sized silicone earbuds, a flight adapter, a compact and practical hard case, and a stereo splitter. It's not every day you see a stereo splitter included as standard so hats off to Jays on that one. However, we would have liked to see a few sponge earbud covers thrown in too. You could easily forget you're wearing the a-Jays Three earphones .... if the the casing just behind the earbud wasn't quite so angular. In fact, for users with smaller ears, the a-Jays Three could soon become uncomfortable.

Jays a-Jays Three Review

We review the a-Jays Three earbuds from Swedish headphone company Jays. The a-Jays deliver thumping bass along with tangle-free cables, but can they hold up when compared to more well know manufacturers?Swedish-based Jays launched its a-Jays series of earphones this past March, offering a trio of different offerings: the a-Jays One, Two and Three series. They all come with 8.6mm drivers, but offer little extras as you move up the line to the more expensive model. For example, the a-Jays Three come with flat cables and airline splitters. Priced at $60, we take a look at the a-Jays Three in this review. As we have mentioned in previous reviews, a good set of earphones will last you years and really are one of those products that cater to the individual who will be using them. From sound to look and build quality, every aspect of an earphone has to appeal to the user. In the $50 to $100 price range, there are literally hundreds of earphones to choose, coming from over two dozen or more manufacturers. Simply put, you would have to be nuts to enter this market – or truly passionate about your product. We think Jays is a little of both. The good thing is that they really get what it takes to be successful here.
