The InFocus IN104 ($400 street) is a lightweight, reasonably bright projector good for business travelers—it's easy to set up and use, and provides decent image quality for presenters. It's a solid choice for a good price, though a bit sparse on features and connection ports. The IN104 is rated at 2,700 lumens. The projector's native XGA (1,024 by 768) resolution translates to a 4:3 aspect ratio It is reasonably compact at 3.3 by 9.3 by 8.7 inches, and it weighs 4.4 pounds, so it's very easy to take with you in the provided soft carrying case. The projector is black (matte and glossy by turns) and rectangular, with rounded corners. The front can be tilted upward by means of an extendible riser. The focus and zoom wheels are accessible through a deep recess in the projector's top, a bit awkward to access, though one can bring the projector to a reasonably good focus. This projector has a modest selection of connection ports. It has 2 VGA-in ports for connecting with computers, a VGA-out for connecting with a monitor; S-Video; RS232; an RCA video jack; and both audio-in and audio-out jacks. Data and Video Testing The IN104 threw a 6-foot diagonal image to fill our test screen, with the projector roughly 8 feet away from the screen.
