After a couple of weeks without a Battle of the Bokeh, we're back with some more bokehlicious action. In this episode, we're comparing the bokeh quality of the recently reviewed Sigma 85mm f/1.4 (www.youtube.com which we thought was quite decent for the money with a Nikon 85mm f/1.4 D, a true classic portrait lens. The Nikkor lens is now superseded by something more modern but it still holds its own and at a decent price. Which one has the better bokeh? Find 32 more videos at www.AssignmentConstruct.com .Transcript of this video Hi, I'm John Harrington and we're going to break out and break down the wide variety of equipment we use to deliver images to our clients. Next we are going to show you one of the equipment kits we use when we are traveling on assignment. Each kit is different and has a very specific purpose. So lets take a look. First things first, its obvious that every shoot requires a camera. Back in the day we used to use Hasselblad for a lot of the assignments that we do. But with digital the way it is right now, we haven't shot a roll of film in three years. This is our Canon kit, we'll take a look at the Canon kit first and Nikon kit second. In our Canon kit, we definitely keep of our software right in case we need to do a reinstall when we're on the road. We have a 1 DS Mark 3, 1 DS Mark 2, 17-40mm, 24-105mm which we use a lot when we're going out and just need an all purpose lens. We have 85mm, 135mm/F2, and 35mm/F1.4. This is an 85mm/1.8 and a 50mm/1.4. One of the things we like to do is stack lenses together with a stacking cap. By stacking it up, it just allows us to store them easier in the bag and they're not bouncing around as much. The reason we have an 85mm/1.8 and an 85mm/1.2 is the 85mm/1.8 is the lens we have to use when we're using the blimp, which we'll talk about in a little bit. We also have a 70-200mm. We have three strobes 580-EX, another 580-EX; we have the new 580-EX2. We have a ...

Music: Antony Raijekov. Deep Blue, from the album Jazz U. The Golf R. The new Golf R32, smaller engine, two cylinders less, but still faster than the old V6. Shot with a 1D Mk IV, a 24-70 2.8 and a 16-35 2.8. Fast, fun, great sound from the engine, exhaust and the turbo. Starts with a few shots of the exterior, then exhaust, acceleration from 0-100 kph and then a "fly by".

Sigma has released their latest fast-apertured prime in the form of an 85mm f/1.4, a popular focal length for portrait photographers. With Nikon and Canon's offerings costing a considerable amount more, does the Sigma offer up enough quality to be a good enough alternative to the big brands' lenses? Is it sharp? What's the bokeh like? Find out in this video. We got asked how fast and accurate the Canon 1D Mark IV autofocus is, and we thought that we'd answer the question in typical DigitalRev fashion by setting up an elaborate not-so-scientific test. In this video, Kai has a shootout between a bearded, 100% masculine, airsoft gun-toting dude. The challenge is to get a shot before you get hit and vice-versa. See how the DSLR fares in this video.
