Need For Speed - Hot persuit on my BenQ w6000 Full HD projector and 98" silver screen. Finally got my cams auto-stabelizing turned off so it doesn't pan the screen back and forth every time I turn... The screen is a 1.22 x 2.17 meter piece of 12mm MDF board hung on the wall. It is prepped with a white basecoat then two layers of Liquitex Silver matte paint. Tried again and I think the cam was happier with the iso setting this time.

A quick look at the new BenQ W6000's lens shift and zoom capability. This is a new addtion for DLP projection. This unit has close to the performance of the LCD's lens shift. Zoom range is not quite up to the range of the LCDs (DLP's 1.5:1 versus LCD's around 2:1.) This should be a very handy new addition. The BenQ W6000 uses a joystick control for the lens shift.

Zudem besitzt der W6000 einen HQV-Bildprozessor, der sowohl bei HD- als auch bei SD-Material für eine ausgezeichnete Bildqualität sorgt. So sehen auch alte DVDs auf der großen Leinwand richtig gut aus. Die Farben des Benq sind ebenfalls ausgezeichnet und wirken leuchtend und realistisch. Allerdings hat das neue Modell ein Manko: Sein Lüfter ist auch im Eco-Modus noch deutlich zu laut.
