I have a slow post on my ASUS P7P55D-E Pro, it doesn't mater if I have hide logo at boot disabled, quick boot enabled or not it always seems to take 15 seconds to get to the post check beep, then windows usually will boot in about 15 seconds or so. Just Upgraded my AM2 X2 64 5400+ @ 2.8GHz to a Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 3.2GHz, the performance gain is so big its insane! I had no problem running fraps an keeping extremely playable FPS a definite thumbs up to AMD for this CPU $140 at Newegg.com was a literal steal. :D Usually I'd be getting 45-50+ FPS but with Fraps running it go's down to 30 FPS and stays at about that for the whole time I'm recoring, which alone says alot about the new 955BE I just installed. :D A bit later I plan on replacing the stock cooler with the ZALMAN CNPS10X Performa with 2 120mm Blue LED Thermaltake fans in a push/pull setup an see how far I can OC this, maby hit 3.8GHz-4GHz. I also plan to replace my ram with some that's faster, 4Gs of DDR2 800MHz in a duel channel setup atm just isn't cutting it for what I do anymore lols. Software used: Fraps (recording) WLMM (editing/encoding) For those of you who can't seem to watch the whole video to the end and keep asking ( what video card are you using) here's my current system spec's :P CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 3.2GHz (OCing to 3.8GHz-4GHz once I get a ZALMAN CNPS10X Performa and 2 120mm Blue LED Thermaltake fans) RAM: 4Gbs G.Skill DDR2 800MHz 5-5-5-15 (Timings) (Replacing wth 8Gs of 1066MHz x2 4G Kits later) Motherboard: MSI 790XT-G45 Video Card: GigaByte HD4890OC 1GB (Stock OC @ 900MHz Core/975MHz GDDR5.
