Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W Power Supply Review
Thermaltake, founded in 1999, are now a major global supplier of computer accessories with offices worldwide. Their product line is now extensive and includes PC enclosures, desktop and server power supplies, CPU coolers, HDD enclosures and docking stations, cables, DC cooling fans and gaming accessories. Their power supply range is extensive from the Litepower and EVO Blue series to the Toughpower, Toughpower XT and Toughpower Grand series. The Toughpower Grand series of power supplies is designed to meet the requirements of the extreme PC enthusiast and includes a modular cabling system, 80 Plus Gold certification and a rated operating temperature of 50C making it \"the Toughest power supply on the block”. The Thermaltake Toughpower Grand is available in only two varieties, a 650W and 750W model and this time around OCC will be having a look at the latter. The packaging of the Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W is predominantly satin black with coloured illustrations used to good effect.

Howdy again, dear readers. As you can plainly see by the above picture, we're about to have a look at Thermaltake's latest foray into the power supply universe with the Toughpower Grand 750W. This is not only certified as 80 Plus Gold, but it is the first power supply offering from Thermaltake that I can remember seeing with a seven year warranty. You know, a lot of things can be grand. Pianos can be grand. Parents can be grand. Standing can be grand. Seizures can be grand. You see, not everything is made better just by putting the word "grand" in front of it. I'm going to find out whether or not Thermaltake's latest offering is deserving of that word on the following pages. But first, you guessed it, we're going to look at some box pictures. As was the case with several other entries from Thermaltake, the box once again flips open in the front to display a vast array of marketing. Let me see if I can make it through all this: Whew, that's a lot of marketing. I'm glad that's over with, and I can move on to the bottom part of the box which contains... aw, maaaaaaaan!
