The budget mid-tower case market has always been very competitive with new cases continually being released by all of the major manufactures. We are getting more features, better build quality, higher airflow, and better looks while prices decrease. Today we will review Raidmax’s newest mid-tower entry, the Viper. It has all of the biggest features to go toe-to-toe with the best cases on the market such as bottom mounted PSU, CPU backplate cutout, side window, tool-less design, and cable management. But will its features be enough to hold its own against its vast amount of competitors? Just a little correction to these specs (which were pulled from the Raidmax website. Raidmax says there is one USB 3.0 and one 2.0 on the front panel but in the case we received, both were 3.0. The Viper’s box is glossy black with a large picture of the case on the front and some key features listed on the back. The sides show the other colors available including white/red and red/black as well as some basic specs.
