Product Survey: USB Keys

Physically, the keys might be larger than those in PNY's City Series, but this new key is still small enough to forget about once you've got it in your pocket. To make it easier to use, it has a sliding cover (see inset), and the outside is made from quality black plastic. The Attaché Original 32 GB proved to be faster than the 16 GB at writing data. For photo and music files, the 32 GB version reached speeds of 11 MB/s, compared to the 7.2 MB/s achieved by its little sister. Things are different for reading data. Using the same files, the two USB keys reached speeds of 16.1 and 19.9 MB/s respectively. That means you'll need to wait an average of two minutes to copy a 1 GB of data onto the key, and just over a minute to copy it back onto another computer. PNY Attaché Original 32 GB
