Nzxt tempest evo computer case review

There are a staggering number of aftermarket PC cases to choose from these days, making the choice of a chassis for a new build more difficult than ever. If you're in the, Hey, a case is a case. camp then you just look for the cheapest chassis that will hold your stuff. Most enthusiasts, on the other hand, want at least some visual appeal for their new machine and the case is virtually the only visible component. Don't get me wrong, the case should have good features and cooling too, but a bit of style is always welcome. NZXT is no stranger to the PC aftermarket and they have updated one of the most popular chassis from their Crafted series of cases, the Tempest. The Tempest Evo is, as the name would suggest, an evolutionary step up from the original, with plenty of room, great cooling and quite a bit of style to boot. We've got one here in the lab for evaluation, so let's see what it has to offer. NZXT, a company built upon gamer's dreams, hopes to create products that put consumers first. With many upgrades from the original Tempest including a complete black interior, tinted window, extra cable management options and many other features, the Tempest EVO is surely a case you should consider. NZXT Tempest EVO Computer Case/Chassis

It doesn’t matter if you are putting your pc together as we speak, or salivating over the idea of its future bad-assery; you want to put it in a case that will exhibit the beast within. NZXT’s Tempest Evo, out of their CRAFTED series should pack a serious punch. Join us as we weather the storm to see if it measures up to the scale. As you can see the case comes with plenty of built in extras like water cooling holes, filtered front panels, a bottom mounted PSU, black interior and exterior and more. The dual front mounted light bars really add to the effect of the case. Once inside the case; all of the installation accessories are in the white box. Right off the bat I noticed the eight 3.5 drive slots, with the case room in here along with the cooling, you could easily turn this into a pretty beefy file server. The case supports the standard spectrum of motherboard sizes including extended atx. The case comes with tool-less rails for 5.25? and 3.5? drives. All of the edges inside the case are rounded so there is low chance of cutting yourself on install. Installing the motherboard and power supply go off without a hitch. They included rubber feet for vibration dampening on the power supply.
