Cases are without a doubt one of the most important pieces of a gaming system. They need to be large enough to house one's carefully selected components, roomy enough to work in easily, allow enough airflow to keep components cool, and do all this while looking "cool" enough to make one's friends sick with envy. Last year we took a look at a case that did all that and more: the NZXT Phantom. Now we are going to run its little brother through the mill, and see if it is able to live up to the Phantom's formidable reputation. Using the same non-linear design style as it's predecessor, the Phantom 410 strays far from the usual square box design. With the inclusion of features one would expect from more expensive cases, it would seem to be a good value. Join us as we examine the NZXT Phantom 410 and see if it's a worthy recipient of the Phantom moniker, and if it can prove to be worth our hard earned cash. The Phantom 410 is available at many outlets in black, red, and white, with prices ranging from $99 to $159. We are looking at the black one today. The NZXT Phantom 410 came to us in an average sized box for a mid tower chassis. A little rough around the edges but in good shape over all, the box features the white version in all it's images.
Today we get to look at one of NZXT’s latest cases. This new addition comes accompanied with the infamous “Tempest” nametag, which we’ve seen on many popular NZXT products in the past. The NZXT Tempest 410 Elite is equipped with a sleek design, honeycomb mesh, and a complete tool-free installation. If you’ve enjoyed any of the other Tempest cases, then you’ll certainly enjoy this one. Read on further to find out more. Special thanks to NZXT for providing us with the Tempest 410 Elite to review. The case comes packaged in a standard cardboard box with high quality black graphics on the front of the box. The rear illustrates some of the cases main features and also gives an overview of the case. The sides of the box cover more detailed specifications regarding the case. The case is well protected inside the box by two pieces of hard foam, plastic window covering and plastic bag for scratch/dust protection.
