Nzxt hades case review

The PC aftermarket isn't a cakewalk. Competition is stiff and a company really needs to stay on its toes 24/7 to remain in business. NZXT has had a good run in this business by marketing innovative products with distinctive looks and desirable features. Over the past few years, we've had the opportunity to review several NZXT products and have been pretty impressed. Today we get the opportunity to look at NZXT's Hades case from their Crafted Series lineup. Hades was the Greek god of the underworld, but in more modern times, Hades conjures up impressions of the infernal regions, which in turn infer heat and torment. Follow along as we see what it brings to the table. NZXT, a company built upon gamer's dreams, hopes to create products that put consumers first. Our objective is to provide every gamer with a case that they can identify with. Combining unique design and case performance, consumers will finally be able to find a quality case that will represent their own style and personality. In the future, NZXT wishes all gamers who desire a personalized case to find it at NZXT. With the unveiling of every product, NZXT improves upon on weaknesses and strives for excellence.

NZXT Hades

When building a new computer many people overlook cases. A great case design can not only help in the building of the computer, but it can also help with the cooling. Airflow is very important in a case since it can lower the temperatures of the case, and thus allow your components to run cooler. It is a proven fact that when you lower your component temperatures the lifespan of the parts go up. This will allow your computer to have a much longer life. The Hades aims to provide optimal cooling to keep your components safe from high temperatures. The case hopes to accomplish this with a large amount of fans blowing air through the case. This is similar to the HAF922 from Cooler Master. Lets take a look see at how it plans to keep your components cool. This case happens to have enough clearance for an ATI 5970, which is saying a lot for a mid tower chassis. The case also supports a ton of fans, which should get the air in the case moving around pretty quickly. The ability to mount a dual top radiator is something that many people will enjoy.

NZXT Hades Crafted Series

NZXT continues to expand the fleet of computer cases in 2010 with the new Hades Crafted Series 9 Bay Black mid-tower case. NZXT has designed one more mid-tower case with as many as possible places to mount large chassis fans without overdoing it. The unique look is unlike most on the market today with a unique front panel to assist with hiding your ROM drive, but keep a sinister look. Features such as ports on the back panel for water cooling should get the attention of those who are or are planning on water cooling their rig. Also the Hades series includes two brackets to assist with mounting two SSD drives. Listing just a few key things about the case, let’s take a closer look at what the case has to offer you. The front of the Hades case is one really a unique. The shape of the front door is unlike any other case on the market today. Also the top center of the oddly shaped door is a temperature display (presently not powered) which will give the user an insight into what the temperature is in three different locations inside the case. Near the bottom of the front of the case is the in-take for the 200mm fan which (when powered) will light up an LED red hugh.
