First benchmarked the Raptor version, then taken an image of it and transferred it to the SSD. The Intel SSD was first updated with the latest firmware. Computer specifications: English Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 64 bit operating system, Core i7 920 CPU, 12 GB of DDR3 RAM, Asus P6T-Deluxe motherboard, ATi Radeon HD4870 X2 graphics card. The reason my PC boots faster through the BIOS post is, that I switched my IDE DVD drive out with a SATA DVD drive, and turned IDE completely off in BIOS. Other than that, the system is equal in both video clips used.

This is a very interesting drive because while it sacrifices a lot of the sequential read/write performance of the X25-M, it actually uses the same controller, so the random read/write performance is nearly identical. PS3 Slim SSD 80gb + Purple chrome skin

A quick video of my PS3 setup. 50" Samsung plasma. I swapped the 120gb PS3 Slim hard drive with a Intel SSD X25-M G2 80Gb and I have a Purple Chrome skin kit installed also.SSD makes loading games about 30% faster such as GTA4. It does not speed up Game Installing, it installs the same speed as stock hard drive because of the PS3's slow blu-ray transfer speeds. The PS3 Slim takes less power to run and the Solid State hard drive uses about .15w compared to a normal 7200rpm hd at 2w during usage.
