Asus P6T Motherboard Review/Unboxing X58/1366 i7.

4.1 min.

Asus P6T Motherboard Review/Unboxing. *Also the Capacitors have 50000 Hours Lifetime.* The Intel Core I7/X58 platform has been out for just over a few years now and there have been a fair number of reviews written on the platform, the architecture and the performance that the platform delivers. Many of the reviews that were seen right off the bat were for the high performance, fully featured models that commanded a large price premium to get in the door so you could start enjoying the Core I7 and X58 platform. The P6T Deluxe OC Edition is the top model in the P6 series from Asus. Performance testing shows that the Core I7 did not realize huge gains in gaming performance but where it does shine is when it comes time to do real work. Crunching numbers and applications where multiple cores and threads could be utilized really showed the performance gains. So what makes this motherboard different from the Deluxe model, you ask? One thing would be the smaller cooling solution for the X58 chipset, the reduction in the number of power phases from 16+2 to an 8+2 design, and the lack of the OC Palm tool. Without looking at the board, there are not a lot differences in the specifications and features between the two boards. So where does the Asus P6T fall on the performance and feature ladder? Will the reduction in power circuits and much smaller cooling solution impact how well this board overclocks? Theoretically it should but theories are just that, a best guess. Even with the ...

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - PC Multiplayer Gameplay 03 - XFX HD 6850

13.48 min.

The Next Video from some of my Gameplay in Bad Company 2. Released for a wish-request from an Youtube-user. This time I played BC2 WITHOUT Anti-Alias. Settings are: 1680 x 1050, 1x AA, 8x AF and everything else @ maximum. With Fraps recording I have 20 up to 25 fps. without AA its not going under 20 fps. The Perfomance without fraps and without AA is a little bit better, than with AA. I have frames between 40 and 65 fps. The GPU still works with 970 MHz core frequenzy stable!! Still... But with AA, the frames doesnt fall really down. The GPU is not up to 100% used, because BC2 needs a way better CPU, than my CPU. Would I own for example a AMD Phenom II 950 Black Edition or a Core i7, i would have ingame with AA and everything up to maximum 50 - 80 frames. I've seen BC2 on the computer from one of my friends. He has a slower GPU, but a Phenom Black Edition. And it have more frames, than I ! System Settings: Intel Core 2 Quad q6600 @ 2,7 ghz 4 GB DDR2 Ram X-Fi Xtreme Music XFX ATi Radeon HD 6850 @ 970 MHz Core

Core i7 970 4Ghz overclock test and 3dMark06 score

1.23 min.

Just overclocking my CPU to a simple 4Ghz and showing the idle and load temperatures, and the 3dMark06 score. Tried running 3dMark Vantage but it keeps freezing at the CPU "Crash & Burn" test for some odd reason, tried it at stock, same thing. RAM overclocked at 1830Mhz from 1600Mhz using 1.64V. This overclock was not stable but at least I was able to run some benchmarks. CPU cooling: Corsair H50 push and pull config Music: Sean Tyas - Mirella (David Prodygee, Dave Joy & Van de Traxx Remix)

This is my first Video, made with my brand new Gaming System =) Motherboard: GigaByte GA-PH67-UD3 S1155 ATX CPU: Intel Core i5 "Sandy Bridge" 2400 @ 3,1 Ghz (stock) and q 3,4 GHz with Turbo Mode RAM: 4 GB Exceleram PC3-12800 CL9-9-9-24 Kit "Rippler" (down @ 1333 because of the Mobo) GPU: Still that Beast ATi Radeon HD6850 @ 950 MHz Clock (clocked down from 970 to 950 because of some rare artifacts in some games) I was playing AvP with maxed out Details in DX11 (without AA) and with a 1680 x 1050 resolution. The Frames without fraps recording: ~ 60 - 110 fps With fraps recording: constantly 60 fps with some rare loading lags. Im still speechless about the core i5 2400! This is a Monster CPU! In the most games i have near the double more perfomance/fps!!! Ever game runs great. Even Crysis Warhead on max (without AA) runs great with min. 30 fps and max. 50 fps!
