This is a quick review of the HP Touchsmart 300 desktop. To go into more detail about the two reasons I am returning it... to the right side of the screen there are a few lines that have pixel distortion. It looks kinda like when there is a drop of water on the screen and the colors go off. This is nothing I have done and it's nothing i can fix. It is not a scratch but something in between the screen and the pixels in the screen that is causing the problem. Now that I have seen it it is hard to ignore. I don't think this will be a problem if you decide to buy the computer It is probably just a flaw in the unit I have. The only way I can get internet is through an alltel UM175 usb network card. It was made for 32 bit systems as I said and the TouchSmart 300 is a 64 bit. Verizon wants me to upgrade to their network card but that would mean putting an end to my unlimited data plan....I don't think so!!!!!! (I hate Verizon) One thing I forgot to mention in the video. This computer actually walks you through the process of creating your system restore disks. They are important to have to keep you system running like it should in case something goes wrong. Every other computer I have had did not do this and you had to buy the disk seperatly. HP gets big points with me for this. This is the website for the HP TouchSmart 300 & 600 www.hp.com
