GlacialTech Alaska CPU Cooler Review

GlacialTech is known for their CPU coolers and other cooling products. They have recently released one of their latest coolers, the GlacialTech Alaska, which we have to review today. Packed with six, 6mm nickel coated heatpipes, fins with breathing effect, and multi-platform support, this cooler is sure to pack a punch. Read on further to see how well it performs in our tests and if it really fits up to par. Special thanks to GlacialTech for providing us with the Alaska CPU Cooler to review. The GlacialTech Alaska comes packed in a “cool” looking retail package, with a blue/white color scheme. In addition to the standard product information, there is also a picture of a snowboarder on the front of the box. The rear of the cubed box has the CPU compatibility. The two sides of the box cover the features and specifications, while the top of the box houses a handle for portability. The Alaska and all of the components included, come protected by simple cardboard padding. The GlacialTech Alaska claims to have one of the world’s first heatsink fins with a “breathing effect”. It’s hard to say exactly what they mean by this, since there is no documentation on it. The Alaska does have a unique fin design, which is not only rigged on the outside, but rigged on the top/bottom.
