For just under $700, the Gateway DX4320-01e ($699.99 list) gives you quad-core power, 1TB of storage, and 6GB of speedy DDR3 system RAM. The desktop, available at Costco, also gets you a dedicated, albeit entry-level, graphics solution and Costco's two-year warranty and concierge service. While this may sound like a great deal, there are better performing systems out there for around the same amount of money. The DX4320-01e is housed in the same piano black mid-tower chassis that Gateway uses on the DX4320-02e ($899.99 list, ) and DX4840-02 ($799.99 list, ) models. Gadget lovers will appreciate the tray located on the top of the case designed to hold cell phones, music players and other small electronic devices. There are two USB ports built into the tray for connecting your gadgets to the desktop, and there are two more located on the upper edge of the front panel where they share space with five card reader slots, headphone and microphone jacks, and a Photo Frame button that launches Gateway's photo viewer app. Six more USB ports (for a total of 10), an Ethernet port, three audio jacks, and two legacy PS/2 ports are located around back. Three video inputs (HDMI, DVI, and VGA) are provided by the Nvidia GeForce 315 graphics card.
