Hey guys, I FINALLY finish my system and start to see the True power of the GTX 460. Oh and for all the FUCKING ANNOYING DOUCHE BAGS, My system STILL lagged with this cpu when i put 2GB only. It EVEN lagged on my friends X4 955. So 3GB is the BARE minimum to run smoothly at these settings. btw this video and results below were on near stock clocks. Almost no overclocking used. CPU was at 3.15ghz (3.0ghz stock) and GTX 460 was at 800core/1800mem (720/1800 stock)... This board is based off of the AMD 785G Chipset. Board connections include 6x USB 2.0 connectors on the rear panel, A Single Firewire connector, Two eSATA Connectors, 8 Channel Audio + Toslink Optical, VGA(D-Sub), HDMI, and DVI output. Cooling on the board is passive, however the mosfets have a passive heatsink, something many boards in this price range neglect to include. The board also includes three fan headers for use with 3pin and 4pin fans. Card connections on the board include 2x PCIe 2.0 x1 Connectors, a Single PCIe 2.0 x16 Connector, and a single PCI device connector. Also, sorry for the shaky video, had to video on my Palm Pre as i need a new memory card for my digital camera.

The ECS A785 is certainly a board that will fit into your budget. A micro ATX board that comes with the AMD 785G chipset will ensure that your home theatre PC works just fine. Think nothing more than getting this board because you'll get a DVI output as well as a VGA output. DDR2 1066 Support ensures that your budget is kept low because you're still using cheaper DDR2 instead of the newer more expensive DDR3. Although DDR3 is faster, but if this is made for a HTPC, you wouldn't need the small increase in performance.
