Corsair a50 cpu cooler review

Corsair has been a major player in the computer memory arena, producing award winning memory products for casual users and maximum-effort performance users alike. Not content to rest on their laurels, Corsair branched out into the power supply market with some of the finest PSUs on the market. The next logical step was to enter the cooler and chassis market, which Corsair did with similar results. We've had the opportunity to look at their liquid cooling offerings in the past, but we were never able to get any of their air coolers in the lab. That's recently changed. This time out we'll take a look at Corsair's A50 tower cooler. With three big heatpipes, a solid design and a very reasonable price, I'm anxious to see how it stacks up to the competition. Corsair has been a leader in the design and manufacture of high-speed modules since 1994. Our focus has always been on supporting the special demands of mission-critical servers and high-end workstations, as well as the performance demands of extreme gamers. While maintaining this core focus, in recent years, we've also brought our expertise, technology leadership and legendary quality and reliability to memory and other technology products for the more mainstream consumer.

Corsair A50 Performance CPU Cooler Review

Today we have the opportunity to checkout Corsair’s new line of CPU coolers. Corsair has two different series of CPU coolers: the Air Series and the Hydro Series. We have a chance to check out the Air Series A50, which is mainly designed to out beat entry-level and stock CPU coolers. This is the first ever CPU cooler from Corsair that we’ve reviewed here at ThinkComputers, so let’s take a look further into Corsairs’ investments into CPU Cooling. Special thanks to Corsair for providing us with the Corsair A50 CPU Cooler. The Corsair A50 comes in a high quality retail box. The theme of the packaging is the main black background with standard text for their CPU coolers. However the Air Series (A50, A70) include brown coloring around the packaging while the Hydro Series includes a blue coloring. On the back of the package are some brief details about the cooler in multiple languages. The sides of the box go more into detail and include the specifications and features of the cooler. The A50 comes well protected by a large piece of soft foam. The fan and all of the other necessary hardware is packaged in a plain white box, included with the A50.
