Reviews - beQuiet Dark Power Pro 10 850W

Last month, I had a look at a beQuiet Dark Power Pro 10 power supply on the lower wattage side of the spectrum: the 550W. Well, today we're going closer to the other side of that spectrum and will be reviewing the 850W. On the front of the box, we're promised a virtually inaudible fan and efficiency up to 94%. This unit also features beQuiet's "overclocking key", which disables the OCP on the multiple +12V rails essentially giving us a single +12V rail power supply. The back of the box has some good information about efficiency, as well as a realistic estimate (as opposed to some other brands) on how much money you'll save with a more efficient power supply. The back of the box also shows the customer what cables are included with the unit. I hope my table is a little easier to read: beQuiet also tells the user how large the unit is on the outside of the box. At 190mm, the unit is a little larger than average, so this is good to know if you plan on using this unit in a chassis that might not be able to utilize a larger unit.
