The ultimate media center PC is tiny! Part 1: Unpacking and setting up the hardware So I decided to replace my HTPC with one of this tiny "nettop" PCs, namely the Lenovo IdeaCenter Q150 250GB edition. I wanted the equivalent featureset for what I use it for (high definition TV, recorded hi-def TV, and Blu-ray movies), but a significantly decreased footprint, so compromises were allowable since I don't play games on my HTPC and I don't run any special services other than media services. My old HTPC also had a Blu-ray drive, so I also got an Asus external Blu-ray drive to complement the Lenovo. Meanwhile I already have a Silicon Dust HDHomeRun and an ATI Digital Cable CableCARD card reader, not to mention a spare USB hub, an HDTV, and a Logitech speaker system.
